Uitsig Relay Event

Uitsig High School (formerly Hoërskool Uitsig) annually hosts the Uitsig Relay event.  Between 20 – 30 high schools participates in this event on an annual basis.  GROOTfm 90.5 broadcasted directly from the stadium in the past and a lot of coverage is provided in the media.  This is the only event of its kind in the country and was founded by Uitsig High School.

The purpose of the relay event is to give schools the opportunity for their relay teams to prepare for the rest of the season. Every year, the relay event takes place during the first week of February.

The registration fee per school is a once off fee of R1000 (regardless of the number of teams entered by the school).  The registration form is available on the website under downloadable documents.
